Mexico
As a Mexican-American, Mexico holds such a special place in my heart. Each visit feels like a journey back to my roots—deepening my connection to the culture, traditions, and flavors that have shaped so much of who I am. I love exploring everything from the vibrant cities to the coastal towns, learning more about the people, and savoring the incredible food that makes this country so unique.
So far, I’ve had the joy of visiting Cabo, Sayulita, Playa del Carmen, Mexico City, and Tulum—and my list is still growing! Oaxaca is next on my travel wish list, and I can’t wait to experience its rich history and food culture.

Mexico City
Mexico City has quickly become one of my favorite cities, even after just one visit (so far). It’s a place where rich Mexican culture meets the energy of a vibrant city. In many ways, it reminded me of Europe, with its walkability, stunning architecture, and endless things to do.
This city made me fall even deeper in love with food. And as a Mexican-American, the experience held an even more meaningful place in my heart. It felt like a deeper connection to my roots in a way I hadn’t experienced before.
Cabo San Lucas Travel Guide
During our second visit to Cabo, we stayed that villas at the Pueblo Bonito Montecristo Estates. These villas are perched atop of the hill above the other Pueblo Bonito properties (one is mentioned below). So far, we have only stayed at the Pueblo Bonito properties mainly because we really love it here. The villas are just beautiful inside and out. The one we stayed at had three bedrooms, a private pool and stunning views. I would highly recommend this property if you are staying we a group of people.
